Heart Check #107: Ask Him For The Impossible

I am reminded of what someone shared with me about asking the Lord for the impossible a few years back. They said, “there is what’s likely, what’s probable, what’s possible, and then go beyond that which is the impossible. He wants you in that impossible type of asking.” A lot of times we get caught on what’s likely to happen, what’s probable to happen, and at times what’s possible to happen but rarely are we in a posture to ask or believe for the impossible to happen. So the question at hand is how do we flame the impossible?

I have been intentionally speaking Ephesians 3:20, AMP over my life everyday since last November: “Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us.” I don’t want to experience a scripture here or there but I want my world to be a scripture I am living out on a daily basis. My daily decree has been “I Am Living In A Ephesians 3:20 World.” How would your world changed if you started to see scriptures as a way of life and not just a moment in time? Would you dare to believe that dream, would you dare to believe for something that you couldn’t even comprehend, would you take that vision that seems so beyond your human sight and run with it or even something harder and deeper would you hope again.

I love being around mountains and waters. I was hiking this past June at one of my favorite hiking trails in Tuna Canyon. I got to my favorite part of the canyon where I could see the Pacific Ocean right in front of me and a vast portion of the Santa Monica mountains on the other side of me. When I looked out and saw the vastness and the limitlessness of the Lord’s creation with my human sight, how could I come back down that canyon and limit my ask or my belief to that same Creator who made that ocean and those mountains and not ask or believe for the impossible. If our human sight could see that, imagine what our spiritual sight could see. Let’s take the limits off of our asks and our beliefs because our Maker is waiting for us to believe Him for the impossible. “For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37 AMP

Let’s dare to believe Him for It ALL!!!
